Concept

Oden Gate is a Rogue-Like game, with a top-view Twin-Stick Shooter gameplay.

Before going into the game, the player has to choose what archetype he wants to play, in which environment, with which weapon, and other parameters, through cards he collects over his progression in the game. This makes it intuitive and diversified.

In spite of  a nervous gameplay and a high difficulty, the cute and cartoon graphics contrasts with it.

Context

This prototype has been made during the end of the second year of my training. 

We were 2 Game Designers and 2 Game Artists, and we had 5 weeks to make it from scratch.
