
Concept
In Wasted Space, the player controls a starship who tries to escape from a very polluted place. He has to dodge debris floating around if he doesn’t want to get stuck. There are many types of debris who will stick to the player as they hit the ship. Some have effects that will make things more difficult, like attracting other debris or stunning the player.
Context
This project has been developped in 72 hours during the Ludum Dare 40. The theme of the Game Jam was : "The more you have, the worse it is".
We were 4 Game designers on this project. Except for some graphical assets, we made all the game by ourselves, including Game Design, Sound Design, programming, or visual effects.
